disk brake upgrade : best deal

B67FSTB

The NorCal dude from Belgium
A friend of mine is thinking to upgrade his front drum brakes to disk brake on his 66 convertible.
Some suggestions regarding disk brake conversion kit. And where to buy.
Come on with some propositions.Thx. :3sum

It's hard to beat http://www.discbrakeswap.com. I put the KH-style kit on my fastback and I love it. For a drum brake '66, a Granada or 68+ single-piston kit would probably be better, as they include spindles which need to be changed on the '66.

If he wants bigger brakes (requiring 17" wheels), Mustang Steve has a nice late model 13" Cobra brake conversion available.

A lot of nice ones out there but I'll second the discbrakeswap.com setup. It's a late '70's granada conversion and the kit comes super complete. Great instructions, support, and easy. Can't beat the price either. He'll need to run 15" wheels if not doing so already.

Shipping to BELGIUM will be an issue. Some vendors won't ship overseas. If they do, the cost of shipping can be more than the kit. Just FYI.

We send a lot of stuff overseas and it is expensive. I can tell you shipping coil springs cost more than the springs depending on where they're going.
