Do mod motors need higher hood for '67 mustang?

I am far from this, but trying to decide if I want a stock hood, or to use the E hood I have.

I have the R&C MII crossmember in and shock towers out in my '67 fb

My question, if I put newer mustang motor mod or Coyote motor in will it fit under the stock hood?
I thought I read they were tall and needed taller hood to clear.

If the above answer is "it want fit"; what about an eleanor hood, does that rise help?
Thanks so much

What nose are you using? We make the higher E hood for clearance, and we just came out with our new MTF style hood that has a little more rise to it. Both of our hoods are for the long style. Rich.

thanks Rich,
I've yet to get those engine bay panels installed but they look nice

Based on your statement, I gather the new motors are taller and do require taller hood???

I hate to say, I am trying to avoid too much hood rise.

Not sure what pertinant info you needed, but I bought an E kit a few years back; I can't recall the maker, but it doesn't have a very high hood. It looks like the "normal" e-kit as far as the longer front end.

I was given a stock hood, to help fit things back together as the e-hood is oversized.

I like the look of the Ekit lower front valance and then the stock bumper and stock-ish hood. (at least as far as I can tell laying pieces together in the garage)
I can't decide if I should plan on modern EFI or just throw a 351w carb. in.
Hated to get to the end and realize I planned poorly
Thanks all

Check out colemans build thread, he has some pictures with his mod motor installed
