I made a Doboschtorte last sunday for Mother's Day. It's long been a favorite of my mom's (and mine), and I learned how to make it from her back in the 70's. I forgot to take a picture, so the picture from the cookbook will have to suffice. Rather than transcribe the recipe, I'm posting a picture of it. Forget about the wooden spoon and use a mixer! :shrug
It's really not difficult, just a bit time consuming to make all the cake layers.
