Does anybody know how to....

Rebuild Starters and Alternators and such? Because my grandpa had a shop, and there are tons of old Starters and Alternators and I figured if I learned how to rebuild them I could use the skill to make some money and save some money....

That's a good niche business, as most alternators and generators are replaced rather than repaired. There's a few old-timer shops around, but the work does require a fair amount of unique electrical knowledge. Even I don't know how to correctly re-wire these things, as they use special magnetic wires.

..........plus the metal plate in Mid's head would screw up the magnetic wires....... :lol :lol :lol :lol

My dad worked at an electric motor repair depot many moons ago, and using his know-how, we've rebuilt a few starters and alts ourselves over the years. Depending on what they are, parts could be $$$ though....I priced a rectifier pack for a Mitsu alt recently and it was something like $70 at cost. :craz The whole alternator was only $100.

Some of them are easier to work with than others... starters aren't too bad, and a well-trained idiot like myself can do Chevy and Ford alternators one-handed, but those damn Mitsubushis like to fly across the room when you open them up.
