Does This Look Correct

This pipe is sitting really close to the ebrake cable. Is that bracket installed backwards? If I pull the cable closer to the chassis the bend radius does not seem right.

Anyway , you should move the bracket more to the frame.
The e-brake cable would not last long when leaning to the exhaust pipe.
The e-brake cable is also secured to the frame with a "clamp ?" .
Make sure the bends in the e-brake cable aren't too tight so it will last longer.

Finally looked under Shag today which tells me that the ebrake routing between a 67 vs 68 is quite different

Hmmmm, Yet again, the illustrations manual says 67/68 brake system. So then, why are these two pics so different?
Maybe I'm not comparing apples to apples? Chris please clarify exactly what you took your pic of.

I think....( I know)....the first pic is under the drivers seat area looking back.....the second is the rear axle area looking forward.

Nope, the first pic is under the drivers seat pan looking forward for I see the steering box bolted to the frame rail on the left.

Chris please clarify that this is infact a 67 and as Pete noticed, it is up front under the driver's floor pan / toe board. If so, then I guess 67's cable system is far different than that of a 68. I do not have a screwed in bracket. My front sheathing comes through the firewall, follows the floor under the car and then stops against a bracket that is welded to the drivers frame rail. From that point rearward it is only the bare cable.

Sorry, been out of town at the wife's beach house the last few days.

I should have mentioned but, yes this is my car which is an early 67.

The picture is looking forward standing under the driver floor pan. That bracket is an original bracket that was on the car. From that bracket through the firewall is a bare cable, from the factory they had some sort of sleeving that went around the bare cable up through the firewall. I used an old soaker hose on the portion that went up through the fire wall from that bracket. This is a reproduction ebrake cable that had the sleeve on it from that bracket to the rear.

Here is another pic. It's a better pic of how the exhaust is routes on the driver side.
