Thank God! I HATE the wintertime setting. since we are just a few miles inside the central zone, its dark here by 4:30 every afternoon.
 
saw a thing on the news here where they are talking about it. politicians... seems they are afraid people are so stupid they wont be able to learn new TV time schedules....
 
Already started moving clocks forward. Upsets my girls (wife and daughter) but too bad. :chair

So why are we saving it for? It isn't like it accrues interest like an IRA. It seems we give it back in early November...what a useless bit of nothingness.
 
I heard that someone who can't even spell said that 'if you like your daylight you can keep it'
I'm sure that will work out great for everyone!

Hi Tim, back in the day, my old man would sneak around and change the clocks Saturday afternoon, and it drove me nuts. Because of that, I don't change my clocks until Sunday.
 
I like the daylight savings time schedule. Light later in the evening. It's dark when I got to work anyhow, so it's all a plus for me.
 
Most people I talk to prefer the time setting vs sunlight of the summer, wishing it would just stay on the same setting all year long.
 
Due to DLS causing the kids in the north to go to school in the dark, it should just be left on standard time all the time.

Messes up everyone for a couple weeks. Arizona has it right.
