Droid or iPhone?

My 2 year phone contract is up and was thinking about getting the Droid 2 Global... but as of next week, Verizon will be offering iPhone too.

Do any of you have any regrets going with either of these phones (or earlier versions) ?

I have 2 Droid X's and they are awesome! I couldn't get iPhones back when I upgraded the them. Hard to tell if I would have gone to the iPhone now that Verizon has them.

iPhone 4 = great mini computer but also equals worst phone ever unless you use the headphones.

I enjoy mine very much but sometimes I miss my Berry

1 thing I don't like about Iphones. Itunes. I FREAKING hate Itunes, so does the wife. Other than that, I love it. No experience with Droid.

Verizon's iPhone will not be on their new LTE (4G) network. If you wait a couple months, there will be at least 4 Droids offered on the new LTE network.

I have an iPhone 3G, and I love the device, but hate the AT&T service. I'll be going to a Droid ASAP when Verizon offers them in LTE.

I can deal without itunes... on my current LG voyager, I just have MP3s (I think) on it... I suspect the droid will take mp3/wma files.

It sounds like the Droid is the way to go...

Both my son and I are up for new phones... he is already set on getting the Droid and Verizon is having a 2 for 1 deal right now so I'm probably going to go that route.
