Dynomax VT's came in

Ordered a pair of Dynomax VT's, the ones with the valve in them. They were on sale at summit and I was wasting time hooking my old generic 2" turbos up that have sat outside for the past 3yrs. Went with 2 1/2, hooking up side exits until I can afford to do proper headers for my AOD and exhaust out the back. I'd also like to add electric dumps when I do full exh. for fun so I'm saving up to do all that at once down the road.

They appear to be well made, I'll weigh them vs. the turbos when I get a chance to sneak the bathroom scale out into the garage...

I ordered the slip clamps too so it'll be easier to take apart and the pipes won't get crimped.

Ordering the driveshaft from Shaun at SorT is next. The last few items I need seem to all be high $ for some reason...
You will be the first one to know when it's first crank time I promise. Your drags trip pics are helping...

Any updates on these mufflers? I may be getting a set of VT mufflers in the upcoming months if I decide to scrap my Borlas with crimped tubing from a local muffler shop.

I installed them but have not done the first start yet, too many little finishing touches (wiring mostly). They look well built and I'm curious to see at what RPM they end up being wide open. I'm running temp. side pipes until I can afford the full length system I want. From posts I've read they are pretty quiet at idle but nice and throaty as the RPM's climb. They are a good bit larger than the cheap turbos that were on the car which has lessoned my clearance.

Subscribing.

If/when I re-do my exhaust, I'm very interested in the VT's. My SpinTech's sound great, but they are LOUD inside the car at cruise. I need to make sure whoever ends up doing the install gets everything tucked up nice and tight to the car this time too.

Looking forward to hearing what you think about the VT's.
