Ebay

I think I'm finally ready to give up on even searching Ebay anymore. The changes they made to the search function a while back combined with no listing fees is just killing it for me...

In my case, I simply search for "Saleen". Used to be 300-400 listings of decent stuff. 25-30 new per day. Today, the result is 5500+ listings on 107 pages. Page after page of craptastic seat covers, license frames, cheapy car covers, etc. They've gone thru with the universal $5 chain license frame and checked the boxes that it fits every model & sub-model of vehicle out there. One guy has 102,000+ listings of CRAP. Yeah buddy, I'm really gonna put your $20 hawaiian neoprene seatcovers on my $400k Saleen S7...

Yes, I know I can log in, set up an advanced search and start excluding all the sellers spamming the place, but it doesn't seem worth the effort any more. [Sigh] :shrug

Hey, you never know, maybe someone got some 14" steel rims for their snow tires for the S7. :sm_NTA

I've noticed the same with ebay. Not worth the hassle....

Man, that S7 is a beautiful car. No need for the wing though, takes away from the looks.

Always knew you were more about the bling than the function... :nut :yah

Yeah, the "new" search function does indeed SUCK!. I've muddled through various search phrases and such until I have a couple that minimizes all the junk. I then save it as a link and can re-use it. By not selecting search the description also helps a lot. How in the world I can end up with crap like taillights from a 76 Corvette and points for a 1958 Buick in my Mustang search is beyond me! :wtf
