I have had this radiator for maybe 10+ years. $600 back then. Only maybe 6,000 - 7,000 miles.
Last year during HAN in Reno I noticed water spraying onto the engine. It was leaking at the water neck.
So, I decided to change it a few weeks ago. This is what I found.

Nope. No anode. But I will now!

I was running distilled water + 40 Below + Prestone radiator additive.

Now I will use distilled water + 40 Below + Joe Gibbs CSP.

Do you have a ground strap between the engine and the firewall?

Yup.
Engine to firewall. Battery to engine. Battery to Firewall. All grounds and positive wires have been upgraded.
I did the "Big 3" when I installed my stereo setup.

I was going to get one for the drain plug, just happened across it on flex-a-lite's site. Going to see if I can find it for <$20, rad. caps seem to be same price range though. I like the rad. cap I have with the safety pressure relief and it doesn't look like the anode ones have that option.
