Embroidered StangFix patch

Here's your opportunity to wear your favorite forum's name. Available immediately in limited supply is the following patch. It is actually a fine woven hot cut edge patch that you simply peel and stick to any fabric. Per the supplier you firmly press the patch into place. Very important to let it sit for while before moving the fabric. I recommend keep applying pressure for as much time available. Actually after observing a couple applied patches overnight, I highly suggest doing a light stitch with black thread around the edge for long term usage.

Size: 2.5" x 2.5"
Limited qty per member: 2pcs
Cost per patch $6.5 *

*Cost includes postage and a couple bucks for StangFix. PayPal, check, cash accepted. PM me if interested. International postage will require more $$. If you paypal me, be sure to make it a personal gift so I don't get hit with their fees.

Re: Embroidered StangFix patch - on hold

I am having issues with the patches sticking to the fabric without lifting. Initially it looks pretty good, but overnight I have found some patches starting to lift. So yes, you need to stitch around the edge. For those who I have already mailed patches to, I will PM you shortly.

Yes, sewing (stitching) them in place is the only way to go.

Re: Embroidered StangFix patch - on hold

I'd like 4 pieces, please. Craig I will PM you and also plan to sew them vice using adhesive. I also might put velcro on one of them and put it on my flight suit when I fly for our company....

Re: Embroidered StangFix patch - on hold

I'd suggest no need for any adhesive on the patch. The recipients can apply if they want.

I have decided to move forward and lift the hold on this project. So yes, please plan to stitch the patch on. Maybe mig weld them on?

I have my seamstress all ready to stitch mine :thu

+2 WTG Suggo, thanks for doing the sewing!!

I'll be sure to post a picture of the patterns of which my machine is capable so that you may chose which you prefer. Until that time, hold onto your patches so I don't lose them.

Patch stitcged onto Shag's tool bag. Damn, that takes forever. Still need to do the other side then Red's tool bag.

Here's a patch adhered to a hoodie sweatshirt. Actually it seems to be sticking pretty well.
