On Oct 14, I attended our yearly Engineering picnic (where we discuss and test the various kinds of oscillations and eat) and thought you'd enjoy these pics.

yes it is. However, can you identify the green car? (I brought the Alfa Romeo Graduate - Mustang is in pieces in the garage but will be back up by Nov 10 in time for an open track event)...

Ding, ding, ding, winner! I had spoken to this guy a couple of years ago about his car and finally got to see it.

I believe it's a 1962 Facel III. It has a Volvo P1800 engine in it. Very unique vehicle. Apparently the previous engine was a disaster and that doomed the vehicle. Production ceased in 1963.

I thought these were a French/American hybrid, sorta like the Jensen Interceptors, Iso Grifo and the like.
here's a shot of a Facel Vega I took at a show I attended a few years ago. it looks like it has a twin carb air cleaner across the top. I have a vague recollection of Hemi, but I really don't know../.

some fo the Facel's had v-8s in them but not the Facel Vega III I posted......

Ever see a vega like this?

I believe its an early 50's. I cant remember the exact year. Its Been sitting in a local barn since 1962. From what we can tell, it currently has a 57 corvette 283 motor in it.

My buddy is in the process of obtaining this vehicle, but we can't even find another one like it online.
