I will seek and find you.
I shall take you to bed and have my way with you.
I will make you ache, shake & sweat until you moan & groan.
I will make you beg for mercy, beg for me to stop.
I will exhaust you to the point that you will be relieved when I'm finished with you.
And, when I am finished, you will be weak for days.

All my love,
The Flu

WTF? never?

Maybe Dave stays so hammered all the time that he never noticed he had the flu. To him, having the flu just feels like he's just a little bit drunker.

I don't remember ever having the flu either, the worst I deal with is broken bones and allergies.

Quit face planting the water and you'll deal with neither.

Until I got the flu this year I had only had it one time in 8th grade and I pretty much never get the flu shot.

A lady I work with gets it pretty much every year. A couple of years ago she had it twice...she caught one strain then a second one.

Some people are just more naturally more resistant to it.

I've only had it a couple times, and I never get shots either. I'm of the opinion that if you expose yourself to germs and viruses, your immune system is going to be more resistant to them in the future. To hell with all this new-age 'avoid germs at all costs' crap. I almost never get sick. Occasionally I'll get a sore throat, but it usually doesn't last long.

If parents didn't shelter their kids so damned much, they'd get sick more often at a younger age and build up a halfway decent immune system by the time they grow up.

I agree with you Tad. A friend of mine is a pharmacist and she said the first year she was sick all the time for obvious reasons with her job.

But now, she pretty much never gets sick. She just takes lots of vitamins and that first year really built up her immune system.

My problem is I am almost never sick so on the rare occasion I do get sick I really make a bad patient....

While I agree that many kids today are far too sheltered, I'm not sure I'm agreeing with the rest of that. A lot just depends on geographic location and things like where you work. I work in a big office building, where things like the flu spread like wild fire. I usually get the flu at least once a year (sometimes twice). I've lived anything BUT a sheltered life (moved out on my own at age 17).

I've never had the flu either, never get flu shots. The worst I have ever been sick was a nasal infection from pollen. A few days on antibiotics and I was back good.
