Been working around the house and the battery in our Alfa Romeo is a P.O.S. It is an Exide Select Orbital and I don't think it's even 3 years old. I've got to dig up the receipt and find out where I purchased it. I believe I bought it at Kragen.....

does the car sit a lot? I have had bad luck in the past on my motor home because it sits for long period of time and I think it ruins the cells or something. Went through a lot of batterys

It does n the latest was swmbo left the dome light on n that killed it. Just picked up a battery at costco.

Yeah, those Orbitals aren't all that reliable. Optimas have a better track record, and that's what you'll get if you still have some paperwork on it. Worst case, go into the store you think you bought it from and get them to look up your purchase history for that approximate time period. All of the stores are converted to the new O'Reilly computer system, but still have a way to look up some of the old purchases that had a warranty on them.
