I feel weird showing this off since my skills are mad basic, but, hey, I don't want to go breaking the pictures rule around here!
So my first part was really simple. I'm getting set to install my one piece export brace, and decided I wanted the angle iron piece sorta like shelby put on the R's. The bracket is like 20 bucks from Mustangs Unlimited, but my wife and I JUST got a new bed, so I had a bunch of old Bed Frame to chop up. Jeremy has mentioned what great stuff that is to keep around, so I did, and already found a use for it! So I drilled the holes to match the mounting holes on the pinch-weld, and drilled some holes on the angle iron, and will drill matching holes into the firewall. On the inside side of the firewall, I plan to bolt some flat bar-stock that I had laying around, which has the same hole pattern. So the angle iron and the bar-stock will sandwich the firewall.
Simple. I have no idea if it'll work, but I can't see how it'll hurt. The shelby part was welded into place, but I'm not welding on my firewall right now. The motor is still in, and don't have the room, a decent welder or ANY welding skills. So I'm trying the bolt-on sandwich. Whatever.
The next one is a little more complicated. In this thread JonK67 was asking about the prop-valve/distribution valve combos, and mounting them on the apron, and will the lines flex and bend too much. In that thread Steve (Sellersrodshop) suggested a bracket that mounts below the master cylinder. I loved this idea and thought about making my own. You'll be able to tell that I mostly freehanded it, as that's about all my tools and skills allow, but I made a template out of cardboard, and then traced it onto some 16 gauge sheetmetal I had, and using an angle grinder and a bench grinder I removed the metal I didn't need.
I have yet to make the holes to mount the prop-valve, but that's coming. Here's the pics:
The Willwood Prop Valve/Distribution block.

So now I gotta wire-wheel everything (Damn I need a sandblaster) and prime and paint it all. It'll all be painted flat-black. All the bolts will be them fancy chrome bolts that they keep under lock-and-key at the Ace Hardware. As if I'm gonna get rich stealing 2 dollar bolts.
Anyway, Comments are always welcome, including constructive criticism!
Thanks!
