I was a Tom/Jerry kid, road runner,Yogi Bear, Popeye, Space Angel, Johnny Quest, I have tried to model my life after Fred Flinstone--lol ( that cartoon was a spin off of the Honeymooners)

Growing up, I think Road Runner was a favorite...but we didn't watch much TV, had things to do...today the cartoon is another site concerning Mustangs.......

I always liked the Pink Panther cartoons, and Speed Racer!

I never liked Pink Panther but my 4 grandkids (ages 2 thru 7) can't get enough of the 145 episodes from the 1960s that we streamed from Netflix. It is interesting to pick up the 1960s nuances though.

My favorite cartoon was Tom & Jerry, but my favorite show was The 3 Stooges. My third grade teacher sent a note home with me to ask my mother to not allow me to watch it anymore. :cry

Never was into cartoons really. Tried to catch The 3 Stooges and The Little Rascals. The only thing I made sure to watch was The Dukes of Hazzard.

All the looney toons, really miss them. Then transformers and GI joe, I'm a child of the 80's. Cartoons these days suck....epically.

Warner Bros c-toons... Bugs, Sylvester & Tweety, Road Runner, Foghorn Leghorn, etc

Another vote here for the WB cartoons, but only up to the late 50's/early 60's. That, coincidentally, is when Carl Stalling and Milt Franklyn stopped doing the musical scores for the cartoons. Carl Stalling was a genius. The music was a HUGE part of the appeal of those cartoons. Watch one of the post 1962 cartoons featuring the scores of Bill Lava and you'll understand.

LOONEY TOONS.....

I'm with Friank on this...quality suffered later......

Also Liked the SuperChicken shows with his sidekick Fred.
SC had a great line that I live by......"You knew the job was dangerous when you took it, Fred"

Oh and included in the shows were George of the Jungle...love his twin wives..... :nice

I'm a bit younger than most of you, so mine is Animaniacs. My old roommate actually bought me two seasons of dvd's a few years ago, and they're even funnier now that I get a lot of the adult and political humor thrown in.

A close second is Road Runner/Wil E. Coyote, and then the rest of the WB gang. I grew up watching that stuff. I agree with Snuffle, cartoons nowadays are absolute crap. If I had kids, I'd never let them watch half the stuff I've seen on children's programming for fear of their mind rotting. What happened to shows like Reading Rainbow (recently cancelled=/), Sesame Street, Magic Schoolbus, etc.? Now we get Dora the Explorer (wth, that doesn't even rhyme), Barney, Veggie Tales (don't get me started on that brainwashing scheme), third or fourth generation Batman cartoons (I grew up on first gen), and loads of crappy anime.
