Now don't jump all over me on this one. Back in 2001 I started building a Chevy 406 (400)engine. I got as far as assembling the short block and lost interest. Since that time it has been covered up in my garage. Well last week a friend asked if I still had it? I told him yes but it was not finished but I had all the parts to finish it. Then he tells me his son needs an engine for his race car as his blew up. So I tell him I will finish it and sell it. Well later on tonight his son is coming by to pick it up. So anyhow is this some kind of a record? 8+ years to finish an engine.
