Finally got that alarm system installed & went to a car show.

I finally got around to installing that new car alarm system for the mustang...

At the car show - Darth Vader approved the system. He also told me I was number 1.

It was a pretty decent car show too. It was a fund raiser for the Kansas School for the Deaf. It was the first show I have ever been to that didn't have music or a DJ. It was just kind of "quiet". But it was also family fun day there too with tons of activities for the kids, free tattoos, face paintings, jump houses, minnow races (yes), etc, etc. Had a great day.

And even ended up taking best in show award!

That's really cool, I can't wait to join folks in a few car shows once Fred is ready, especially when the money is going to a good cause.

I feel like it's a constant up keep of obtaining trophies. For some reason they keep disappearing from the fireplace mantle - so I feel like I must get a new one to replace the "relocated" ones... :lol

The show started by parking the cars out on the lots abuting the streets. Kind of like a cruise in style - but when I arrived all of the spots were already full, so they shuttled me into the middle of the school complex (basically faculty parking) and parked me there. The other late arrivals also had to park there. Not the most desireable spots.
