Well I finally got a call from my machine shop that my engine was ready. Went and picked it up last Thursday and started putting it together that night. I just finshed the assembly of it tonight. It went together very well.

I was wondering if anyone would catch the Toyota filter on it. Was the only thing I have at the present that would screw on. But it will be removed or at least painted. As for power I am thinking 425-450 HP.

I know youknow weknow youknow that we really like what we see

except the filter :lol Supper looking engine. Go candy for sure.

Nice!

How long have you had that yota filter layin around? I have not seen one of those for a while

That filter was for a 1979 Toyota Corolla that my mother had. If I recall she sold that car in 1989. She worked at the local Toyota dealer so she used to buy them by the case. I still have about 7 of them in my garage. I just found out a few months ago they will fit a Ford so I might as well use them up. Oh and I did go to the garage and took some paint thinner and removed the Toyota on it.

Is that an aluminum oil pan?... nice.

Yep that is a Canton aluminum road race oil pan. I got a hell of a deal on it that I could not pass up. I wanted to use as much aluminum on the engine as possible to cut down on the nose weight.

Sweet looking engine! If you want to get rid of that fugly alum pan, I have a nice steel Canton RR pan I'll swap ya :ecit
