Damn I wanted to get this done before hot/humid invaded down here. It got hot and very humid...ugh :wtf
I finished up this week. Took me a lot longer than I figured to get the pipes and exhaust tucked in and at the correct angles. The last side went much faster than the first side. Anyway, I love the dynamax vt's. Just the right muscle car growl at idle and normal throttle, but opens up to a throaty roar at wot or kicking it. I am very happy with them and the side exit. The only thing I need to get is the tips. I just put a short length of pipe/band clamp for now until I find what I want. 2 1/2 all the way too. Definitely has more seat of the pants kick with the new headers and mufflers. :thu My wife did a video recording on her cell phone but the crappy phone just does not sound at all like the real deal so no use to put it here. The tone sounds higher on the recording??? The mufflers are still lower than I would like them to be. Might drag a little on some of the higher speed bumbs. (wth, is there no such word as "bumps"? spell check keeps flagging the heck out this word?)

Forgot to add that one modification that I did make on the VT's is that I am running a 5.0 HO motor, but after doing some reading on the subject, I decided to order the VT's for a 6 cyl. engine so the valves would not be so hard to open. Seems some had trouble with the V-8 model VT's opening at heavier throttles so the 6 cy. models would work better than the 8 cyl. and that is what dynomax recommended to these folks when they were not happy with original results. Anywho, I am pleased with the results. If you are running a 351 or stroker engine you probably would want to use the V 8 models for yours. I am assuming they pump out more air for the VT valve to open?
