fireworks video

It takes a while. A buddy shot video of our fireworks this year and downloaded it to the attached site. I like how he titled it under his name. :lol "Hey, it wasn't me officer." Anyway, he missed the first 5 minutes which kinda sucks because the music you hear in the background is a cd I mix up to shoot the fireworks to. I had Kate in the beginning saying the Pledge of Allegiance. We were playing the cd on the band's system so it was coming in loud and clear. My buddy was sitting a good 75 yards away from the fireworks so the camera didn't catch a lot of the high stuff. You'll have to excuse his sing-along. The first 20 minutes is me and Billy (MB guy) up there just lighting stuff and kinda taking it easy. The finale starts at the 22:20 mark with the finale song starting at 21:30. There is a good little burst around 15:00 and 19:00 but it's all "playing around" until the trailer gets pulled out. That's when it's fun. I constructed the finale on a 12' trailer and had everything tied into 5 fuses. Light fuse, go down and watch.

Heck yeah Duane! Nice show! The finale was better than some professional shows I've seen.

How much $$$$ did that finale cost?

Almost forgot.... your buddy needs singing lessons.

We get the fireworks "wholesale" so to speak out of Ohio. I spend the same amount of money as I used to in SC and get 3X the goodies. It takes the better part of a day to lay everything out how I want it and fuse it all together. The fusing part in itself takes about 4 hours. The 22:50 mark is where the cannon goes off. The camera really does it NO JUSTICE as you can't feel the "force". It gets a new plate for next year. My load on it was a little "hot" as you can see from the pics in "politics".

WoW!!! That was by far the best home grown fireworks show I've ever seen.

Nice work!

Yeah.... you'd kinda have to hang out with Duane a couple of times to understand. He likes to blow stuff up.... all year long. The 4th of July just gives him an excuse to do it on a grander scale.

Next year, i fully expect an invite to Duane's for the 4th after seeing that video.

I'll buy the beer Duane.
