Hi! last night, I finally got to actually meet some fellow Mustang owners from Westsidemustangs :yah! I drove my '67 couple for the longest distance yet, while Gary drove our Subaru Baja(just in case!). I was sooo nervous~ worried something may break resulting being stuck in 6
m traffic! I took the feeder all the way, sitting at just about every red light~ by freeway would have been 20 minutes under normal circumstances, the way traffic was would have been longer. My Stang did fine! The electric fans kind of get irritating, one runs continuously while the other cycles, but I got used to it pretty quickly! I think my favorite thing to show off is my motor compartment! I'm so proud of my motor eventhough it needs tweaking to run better, and one more quick note is how tight my car is! no rattles, moans or anything! i was expecting clunks and maybe some rattles, but was solid!
I got to meet Joesgt281, he lives in Katy. Most everyone was in a later model Mustang and of course they were all gorgeous! Unfortunately, it was a bit chilly/colder than I thought it was going to be, but we stayed until about a little after 9:00. I probably talked Joe's ears off! I was so excited to show my coupe and tell some of the tales from the past 3 years! But I never really imagined people doing so much upgrading to their late model mustangs! omg! Next time I hope to get to take a little more time seeing each car and getting to know the person that owns it! There's pride in each ride!
My speedometer is waaaaaay offff! Gary said I vanished once on the freeway going home! I said I was doing 65mph, so I slowed and he caught up with me and did a speed check. While I'm going 50mph, he's going 65! eh, knew there were things to correct, fix or repair! Otherwise, the evening fun with no mishaps! I look forward to meeting more car enthusiasts!
