I was looking through all the listings and this one caught my eye.

I can't imagine all the work that went into this, it looks amazing. If I had deep enough pockets I would be putting my money on this for sure. What do you do when it breaks though LOL. I am sure it will end up selling for 2x more than what it would go for elsewhere.

I did not see ANY 65-66 fastbacks for sale in the entire auction.

The same thing many with custom Mustangs would have to do.....get dirty or pay the price for a custom repair.......

I meant as far as engine parts go, I might be totally wrong, but I don't think engine parts are too readily available for a Ford 4 cam.

I am sure there is a good shop willing to reproduce any part needed.....if the car ever gets run.

Well unfortunately speed had a frigging commercial when it was on the block.

It looks like it went for only 70k.

250mph and 11k rpm for 70k???? PLEEEAASSEEEEEE ....................SIGN ME UP.......best deal of the auction.

I stand corrected...the SOHC 427 Galaxie that went with a SOHC 427 drag boat for 80K as a pair I would say is a hell of a deal too......

There are definitely some great deals this year, but as they say, "It takes money to make money." The number of people willing to drop 70-100K+ on a car has gotten smaller.

obviously a lot of talent but since he was going that far, he should have removed the door posts. One thing that's unappealing on the old (63 and older) Falcons is that door post.
