French film - driver ripping though Paris streets

Oldie, but goodie. If you've never seen this video, it's crazy

"On an August morning in 1978, French filmmaker Claude Lelouch mounted a gyro-stabilized camera to the bumper of a Ferrari 275 GTB and had a friend, a professional Formula 1 racer, drive at breakneck speed through the heart of Paris. No streets were closed, for Lelouch was unable to obtain a permit."
Not sure about the validity of this statement about the film.

I lost count, just how many red lights did he run? Good shifting, but I thought that I heard one missed gear. How many flying rats ended up on his bumper. :craz fd
 
This clip has made the rounds.

I posted it on that "other" site a year ago but it was promptly removed.

Still like watching it!
