Friend Storing His 67 At My House - PICS

DEL65

Of The Morons
A friend of mine has a nice Lime Gold 67 coupe. Over the last few years he's been working on it. Beefed-up motor/trans/paint/seats. Then last Spring he picked up a 73 Camaro project. Well, until it was painted recently, he kept the Camaro outside. Since then, 67's been parked in his driveway with plastic tarp over a car cover. Combined with cold, rainy Moe-desto winters, the condensation was bad news.

My buddy is not the type of guy to ask for or accept a favor, so I pleasantly surprised when he accepted my offer to store the car at my house until late-Spring. Here's a few pics. BTW, since SWMBO knows my buddy and his car, so I couldn't use the car to play any jokes on her. Darn!

John,
You obviously are a NorCal SFer sharing your beautiful car's bedroom with another Mustang. You make us proud.

Why didn't you pull it all the way into the garage???...no car in front to block it.

And then there's the COTM calender for 2011....September doesn't show a car. Odd. :roll :roll :roll

Hi Mike, can I remind you that my 65 remains magically invisible until alcohol is consumed? I can see it clear as day!

So the 67 was driven in there by a drunk driver so as NOT to hit your invisible car? :beer :beer :beer :beer

Maybe he's invisible.... :roll :roll

Or its John's way of getting a 67...'yes dear...I'm storing it for a friend' :roll

And why isn't said buddy a 'Fix member...

I've suggested he join, but my friend isn't much of a computer guy. He barely checks his e-mail. I'll try again. Promise.

I have a multitude of friends that no one ever sees but believe it or not, I have up to one or two real friends.

The world would be a better place with more folks like you. The new visitor in your garage is really nice indeed.
