I'm looking for input on selecting a front sway bar diameter. I've got coilovers on all four corners, 450# springs up front, 225# out back with a 4 link and 3/4" rear bar. Currently I do not have my front bar hooked up. The car handles pretty decent as is but I'm sure it will be better with a front bar too. Since I can't use a stock style bar, I'm looking at the "stock car" style bars that use splined ends and arms. What diameter bar would you start with?

About a 1" or 1 1/8" with poly bushings. Its gonna corner good.
I ended up ordering a 1-1/8" shroeder stock car swaybar that I didn't end up needing.
It turns out the bar I originally custom fitted 8 years ago, but was now having trouble with was actually fine. After I had the bar powdercoated 5-6 years ago, I reinstalled it with the ends swapped. The difference was enough to cause a bind in the hiem joints so I never put much effort into hooking it up... Well after I realized the error a few weeks ago, I installed the bar as originally designed and made up some links using hiem joints, 5/16" studs, pieces scabbed from an energy suspension sway bar link kit, and some custom aluminum links I made at the local vo-tech adult ed machine shop. The first pic was before I milled some flats them for a 7/8" wrench and mild polishing.
The bar itself is a 1-3/8" tubular arm that came from an '89 T/A. I cut the off and welded bungs in the tube so I could bolt the hiem joints straight on.
The handling has gone from pretty good to much better... glad I finally got around do getting it done.
