Fun day in the woods

For you poor snowed in soles:
Yesterday wife and I drove across the Golden Gate bridge and did some serious hiking along some trails of the John Muir state park in Marin county. Perfect weather. Had lunch along the wharfs of Sausalito, CA afterwards overlooking the SF Bay.

Great photo. Back in the day, I and my buddies used to consume beer & "Happy Brownies" and hike thru the Muir Woods. It's an excellent hike.

Erroneous! Erroneous! What kind of picture of the Swiss Alps is that? Where is the snow? Search Google Images for "Swiss Alps" and see if there are any pictures without snow. You expect us to believe that pic as proof?

Love the picture. It reminds me a lot of Washington State.

A buddy of mine used to live in Silverdale Washington. He, his dad and I went on some really great hikes up that way back when. They moved when we were 16 and every summer for years after that I would go up and visit for some hiking, fishing, etc.

I really want to get back up that way sometime but it appears I am taking the family on a cruise to Mexico for vacation this year. O'well, probably better to wait till the boys are older for hiking anyway. They wouldn't get far before they started telling me their feet hurt at this age.
