Gallery pictures update

I have succeeded in rescuing what I believe is all 9,000+ the pictures from the galleries. They are not attributed to whoever uploaded them however. The gallery software assigned numbers to them and the database would call for the assigned number. The database does hold the owner info but the table is corrupt.

Anyway, they are all in 11 galleries located on the old server. You are welcome to check them out.

That is not going to be a permanent location, so if you decide to repair any links or move them on you own move them into the new gallery or just download then attach them.

I will be fixing links and attachments as time permits. Any help is welcomed. If you go repair a post, link or attachment please pm me so I know.

Thanks for your patience.

Randy,
Wouldn't one need to first do a "save as" for each pic they wanted to keep to their hard drive, then when in the new gallery down load from the hard drive? Maybe I'm making too much work for myself?

Is there any way to download an entire gallery with the pictures full size? I have hundreds of pictures and I basically have to click on the picture in the gallery overview to open the individual picture (but it is reduced size when opened), then click on the picture in that window to open it full size in order to download it full size. If there was an FTP site or some way to just download an entire gallery folder onto our computer and then delete the pictures that aren't ours, that would save a TON of time for those that had a crapton of pictures in our galleries.

I'll look into giving people ftp access on an individual basis. Should be easy to do.

That would be awesome. Let me know what you find out!

Also, is the Bulk Add Pictures removed from our Galleries? Mine will only let me add one picture at a time.

Try now. I changed the permission for the member group you are in.
