Garage time on a snow day

Well it is snowing like crazy, supposed to get 12 inches today.
So I figured what a better day to stay home and get some work done on the car.

I got my engine pulled today. :yah
I didn't have anyone to help me so I did it alone. :roul
A few bruises and cuts, lots of tranny fluid on the floor, and a few misc oops, and it's out. :roll

I was surprised to see that it is the original engine and Transmission.
I did not figure my car was numbers matching after all the hacked up crap from previous owners.
I almost regret buying the 5.0 now. I hate to replace an original engine and trans.
I will be keeping the original the motor and trans stashed away in case I every want to switch back.

Now I have a little time to clean up the engine bay and get it ready for the new motor.
Maybe I should start a build thread? :confu

Not to much since I don't have a welder. Just planning on some surface rust clean up and paint. maybe route and wrap some wires.
