Yesterday was our club's annual garage tour.
We started doing this activity in 2001.
Yesterday we began at one member's home. He has an unrestored almost all original 1967 GTA S code (390) coupe, a 1999 convertible and and 1987 GT convertible project. His garage was a double size with a lot of nice old road signs. He admitted he had spent the last week cleaning and reorganizing.
Part of our garage tour is a progressive meal. They served the appetizer, veggies and little weenies in BBQ sauce. Approx. 30 Mustangs of club members were parked around his corner house.
Next we ventured about 11 miles to the next member's home.
HUGE lot, long driveway, two garages. One double for the daily drivers and the other containing his bright yellow 2007 Saleen, 197? Grabber blue Maverik, and a GM product older SS El Camino.
His wife served fruit and salad on their huge patio/deck.
Then we herded up and caravaned to the last home/garage. AMAZING! Beyond belief!
Garage had 17 vehicles and wasn't full.
Boss 302, Boss 429, new Laguna Seca Boss. 1956(?) F-bird (Supercharged!), several Shelbys, Q code 1969 Mach I, two old Broncos, Ford GT, two 2003 Cobras, 2007 Super Snake, super modified 1969 Coupe, hot rod 193? Ford truck. The garage was not overkill in the vintage signs and other collectibles, but really nice.
On their deck around their pool, they served lasanga and birthday cake for two club members celebrating b-days.
It was a great activity. Way to get to know more members. Enjoy cars and cruising.
Sorry I didn't take any photos.
