Gas in Oil

What are the causes and effects. The '66 has been sitting in the garage for almost a year. Stabil was added to the fuel and it was started maybe 4 to 5 times at random through the sitting process.

I had a 85 mustang gt that always did that over the winter storage months. It was my fuel pump diaphram. Change your pump. You will have to change your oil and filter a couple of times to get rid of all the gas.

How can I check if the fuel pump is bad? Will I be able to see the paper diaphragm if taken off?

If the float needle is stuck, what am I looking for? I'll be looking down the Holley 670cfm with the engine running.

Machine shop has been busy for a while, so the '66 is in garage waiting patiently. I might as well look for the problem myself.

BTW, the '66 runs perfect. The oil is not burning like before, so that means gas is continuously getting in there. Driven it for approx. 200mi since last oil change.
