Gas Monkey Garage Dallas TX (Fast N Loud TV show)

On my drive to the Saleen Nationals in Houston/Conroe TX on Aug 1st, a couple of my travel companions mentioned stopping at gas Monkey to pick up a T-shirt or 2. Looks like it's less than a mile off the interstate. Just wondering if it's worth the stop, or we'll be pulling into an empty warehouse parking lot in a sketchy part of town??? 8-[

Anybody been there? Worthwhile stop / visit??? Fan of the show?
 
Used to live close to there, It is in an industrial part of town. Seen the show, just have not had time to go over there. Since I work late and need to go past that section of town, I might try to check it out this week.


Why don't we plan a get together?
 
I enjoy watching the show. Never see too many people around when there filming. I'd say it would be worth the stop.
 
I think a bunch of people stopped in during the Power Tour. It might be cool but they seam like a bunch of :cens
 
Drove by that area today. It is a mess with construction. You might consider an alternate route through Dallas on Thursday since there will be work traffic. Anytime in Dallas is like rush hour.

Suggestions on a route thru Dallas? Coming in from the north on I-35, heading toward Conroe/Houston on I-45.... :hmm
