going to buy wheels need help

Going to a swap meet in Cedar Rapids and plan on picking up some wheels...i put my buddys wheels on to see what sizes would work. His are 18x10s with 6 inch back spacing and 275/40s they were a little wide so i was thinking a 17x9 in back with 5.5 bs and 17x8 with like 4 bs in front? Not much experience with this stuff but do you guys think that will work?

i have grab-a-trak suspension all around.
 
I am not a fan of wheels larger than 17". My preference is 15". But then again I'm a lowrider style guy anyway. Low is good.
