Looks like this guy came down on orders for Korea for a yr. bad part is that I will be away from my daughter for a yr. I report in july and my ETS date to get out of the army is aug 14. so I would have to extend for a month there to get out of the army there. I would have 12 yrs in the army. I am looking at possibly re-enlisting so I can get return assignment to either around fort benning(columbus ga, where my daughter is at) savannah or back to campbell. I will be trying to rent my house out when I am over there...Now just trying to find homes for all 3 of my cars. I am not really wanting to sell my mustang or my falcon...I got some time just a pain in the but....sometimes I do hate the army..

Where in Korea? I was in Kunsan in '71-72 with the USAF. Looks like this is not a good time to be there either so be safe.
I have always heard horror stories from those that got discharged at port.....Plus you are over half way to retirement so it is a hard decision. Don't wait until the last minute to decide either.
Hmmmmmm.....I can always use a running Mustang for a year.....lol.

I am thinking of finding someone that has a hobby and wants to tinker on the cars....i'll send parts and cash...be nice to drive one when i get home since i will be sitting on my thumbs not able to do crap :soapboxrant

Won't the Army reimburse you for vehicle storage? Maybe not for all three, but they should for at least one.
Enjoy the Far East for a year. While there, try and catch a Space A flight with the AMC down to Phuket.
