Good Karma

After a long string of events, which proved to me that certain things are meant to happen, I have a new member of my family. She is a five-week-old Blue Point Siamese who was abandoned on the street two weeks ago and rescued by the staff at my vet's office. Meet Karma:

I had taken Cheyenne to the vet to be checked for some cuts and abrasions on her head and saw the kittens for adoption. I loved this littlest one and so they had me go in the exam room and they brought her in. Cheyenne was interested right away and the kitten hissed, growled, and took a couple swipes at her. She is so feisty! Cheyenne barked at first, and then after a few minutes went and laid down, facing away from her. It will take some time to get them both adjusted to each other, but they should be good. I don't have Karma yet since I'm heading to the Grand National on Sunday. The vet is keeping her for me until I get back and then we'll have a lot of getting to know each other time.

Sure hope she doesn't turn into "bad karma" :ecit

Seriously, nice kitten Laurie.
