Good news from the doc...

Last week, on a routine check up, the doc decided I needed a physical since it had been a while. With all the checks, they seemed to find a mass in my bladder,,,,,,,,,high blood pressure, and low platelets. .

Been getting more checks over the last week and finally got good news. After a camera check inside the bladder all was declared in good shape. Just a minor prostate issue that can be handled with medication.

Changing the arthritis meds so all other issues should be coming in line soon.

These type things are never fun but it is a good sigh of relief.........then the car breaks.....

Glad for the good news. How low are the platelets.

My wife is dealing with high platelets (over 1 million).

Great news Pete!
I finally got my Gary to go in for a physical! We've been married a little over 6 years and finally he went! They should just rent me a room at the doctors office~ seems like I'm always in there for something! lol I probably spend most money on Lunesta for sleep~ don't know what I'd do without my Lunesta! :cry

I know about the room rentals.....with my wife, we were in an office somewhere at least 3 times a week for more than a year. Now it is down to 3-5 a month. My turn now but I hope this ends it now. At least the doctor was able to walk away from this one today....I had threatened his life... :amaz

Thanks. When one hears things like that from a doctor, it hits a bit hard at first. Takes a few days and then, you think things over and realize there is nothing to do but accept the facts and deal with what ever happens. Just enjoy the time we are here.....

Last time i was feeling crook and covered in spots, i went to a doctor he said i had to go on a pizza and pancake treatment plan.
I said "Is that gonna cure me?"
