Good or bad feedback on Lunati roller lifters?

I'm trying to decide on which make of hydraulic roller lifters (with link bars) I am going to use. Right now Lunati seems to be the best buy and exactly what I need. Who knew lifters could cost almost a grand ??!!

I am not sure about Lunati but I would NOT use Comp Cams. I had a set of lifters loose the roller pins (4 lifters IIRC one of which fully out and wiped out my cam) with only 500 miles of the car and just over a year. It was out of warranty of the lifters and they said there wasn't anything wrong with the lifters but they gave me a $100 credit for the future. Why give a credit if something truely wasn't wrong? Still wondering that one........

Yes Mark !!! Whats wrong with Ryan's choice !!!!!............................;)

What about Isky? They use a bronze bushing in place of needle bearings. The bushings have a great load capacity and no needle bearings to end up in the pan.

I bought the Lunati Street Perfomance lifters today. They work up to 6500 rpm . . . Which is a tight spin for a 408 in street trim. Ryan told me that Morel makes lifters for Lunati. Any one checked the price on Morel branded lifters?? They are around $1000 per set where I paid $365 for a set of Lunati. Big price difference and I still a LOT of parts to buy to finish my build. Thanks for your replies.
