o.k. who's going & on what day? I think craig mentioned sat afternoon when he gets back in town. thinking I may go on sat too. anyone else??
 
I wish I could have made it. Several of my friends are going.
 
my flight lands at 10:30am on Saturday. I may just go straight over but having gone in the past you can easily spend a full day there so I would still be around in the afternoon.
 
I'm working on an excuse to get a release Sat. afternoon.. :roll
Who has discount tickets, O'Reillys?

Ok, looks like I've been given a reprieve for Sat., may shoot for 11a to line up with Craig. Joey called me and left a message but I got it after midnight working on the DD timing belt change.
Joey, what time you going?

I may ride out there with pop to spend a little time with him. he likes to be the first one there kinda like a door greeter, so will be there early if I ride with him.

I've been around, just not too much around here. Lot's of work and other real life issues getting in the way of my stangfixin'.
 
sorry I didn't make it. I got stuck at the border this morning. Apparently it is a 3 day weekend in Canada and everyone, yes everyone was leaving!
 
told everyone you must have got caught trying to smuggle something illegal across the border & were detained! Monday is "Victoria day" up there.

think joey got a couple pics. we got a late start as I had a guy coming today to cut up & haul off part of that concrete slab I've wanted gone for 17 yrs now. he was supposed to be here at 8, but showed up right as we were leaving so had to hang around a while & make sure they knew how I wanted it cut etc.
 
I fly in and out of Buffalo because it's half the cost of flying into Toronto. I cross at the Peace bridge and it's normally not too bad. I guess Canadians go across the border to go shopping and whatever for the holiday so it was quite the long line at the border. I didn't get home until late and was tired and crabby. I was looking forward to the show too, it's been a long week!

Never take the peace bridge. Head further down to the Queenston\Lewiston bridge just outside of Niagara Falls. Less of a wait time during a Canadian holiday there as everyone heads to the Peace and rainbow bridge. Summer weekends are just flat out terrible around here. The strip with all the stores on it here in Niagara Falls turns into Little Toronto with all the Canadians crossing over to shop.We do all our shopping monday through thursday to avoid the crowds.Like tomorrow,you won't see me anywhere near the border crossings as they will be jammed packed with Canadians headed back into Canada.

I got a little too much sun, though. I get home and the wife says "WHOA, big redneck!" I know she probably thinks that quite often, but she doesn't usually say it.
Then she says "it's almost maroon" and I understand.
 
Yeah, the 4 of us had a good time Sat. I started out a little dizzy, while waiting to meet up with Joey and Steve I was standing near a Tbird looking for them when Joey told me on the phone to turn around, I did, then he said 'turn around again', I did....then I heard the giggles off to my right where they were standing watching me turn in circles...that's how the day started.
