We got a dusting Christmas night, which is a big deal for Mississippi. We don't know how to act when it snows.

Always on vacation!
The last time we had a white Christmas, we ended up getting 72" of snow. We normally get 6-12" a year.
I got to drift into my parking spot this afternoon. I do wish my work truck was 4WD. I have to be really careful which way I come in and go out, and my driveway is a hill so getting out is easy, but getting in is an experience for sure!
We have about 2-3 inches on the ground and the ice on the dirt road is about an inch thick.

I spend the entire fall looking forward to winter. The snow is fun!
My next toy will likely be a snowmobile! I am about an hour from Brianhead ski resort and plan on snowboarding this winter!
When I was in Cali, I was in the desert, two hours to the beach, two hours to the snow. It was nice, but now I live in the mountains, play in the snow when I want to and am less than an hour to a couple of nice lakes. The only thing about Cali I miss is the beach!
And very important, I don't have to deal with all those people!

Maybe this will explain why we saw Santa scaring the Hell out of the sea gulls a little further South this past Christmas.

I love the snow, I was just upset it took so long to get here!
We got about another 7 inches yesterday. So far this year we are just over 20". I've had enough.

Snow is almost gone! It is sunny here, but pretty cold!
