Had the day off yesterday so I spent the day at my buddy's shop helping out.
Wet sanded a Toyota and then got into messing with the door off a '55 Ford truck. Took most of it down to bare metal, it had at least two layers of paint on it.
Also learned how to patch up the bottom of a door where it had rusted out under the weather strip through the years. Apparently, the truck has been sitting a bunch of years. They sent three cars home last week, finishing up the Z car I helped block sand last time I was over there so time to start a new project.
Don't claim to be the world's greatest welder at all but I have decided to sell off my crappy welder and buy a better one. Using the one at the shop makes things a lot easier.
