Got evacuated

Here's a couple pics from the front of the house right before the sheriff's came around and told us we were under a mandatory evacuation. Loaded up the dogs, cats, and horses and got the flock out of dodge. Right now the fire is over 7400 acres with 30 houses lost. It's was hot, 102, low humidity, and strong winds... so it was a fast moving fire.

Luckily I was able to go home and check it out. Home is still there...but no power. We took over a generator to plug in the refrigerators. I hope they let us back home soon.

Geeeeeezzzz that looks close. Hope you and Sabrina have something to come back to. It seems like here in the Golden State i's either "shake" or "bake" these days.

We'll be sending good thoughts your way.

Regards, Jeff

Rob,
You and your WAY better half are in our thoughts. I'm over along the Redwoods at Weott, CA and can't believe how HOT it is. Very unusual for here.

Thank guys. I think that we're out of danger. Looks like the fire is mostly south of us and that they only have to do some spot fire cleanup. PG&E got us power a few minutes ago. YEAH! Now just waiting for them to lift the evacuations.

We have a few going up here I couldn't believe how there was no air movement and the smoke just hovered. Be safe

Glad to hear that everyone is OK. Been a real nasty fire season, and it is only just begun.

Glad you guys are okay. Wow!

NorCal has really been getting hit hard with all these fires, don't remember them growing up.
