Got My First Octopus Today

Went diving today with my fiance and we had a great time. I haven't been since February, so it really felt good to me. I wanted to do spearfishing, but the attachment broke for my spear and we didn't have the right tool to fix it on the boat.

However, we spotted six octupi on the first dive, one of which was quite large. I tried to grab it on my own, but it was a two-person job. Damn, those things are slippery and strong! We got it and we're having it for dinner. Yum!

Nothing better than fresh seafood! Everything from the sea is better as fresh as possible!!!!!!

Last year I was in Kroatië at the Mediterranean Sea and we ate some fried and grilled squid at a local fishrestaurant.

We used the abalone pounder and then pan fried it.

We both really enjoyed getting out and diving together. He has clients today, but tomorrow we'll dive again and maybe I'll have my speargun. It is just so wonderful underwater!
