Got The Boat Back In The Water

Last week, it finally all came together and we got my boat, Whale Shark, in the water and running great. I had brought the carburetors up to Tucson to get them rebuilt and that made a big difference. We had several days on the water, and in the water diving, and the boat is running great. Now if we can only figure out how to dump the waste tank......

Nice.

I haven't gotten my boat out yet. It's been a cold spring so far. We had one perfect day and my daughter was sick, so we sat home. She wanted to get out on the boat more than me and was very upset.

The whole front of the boat below is living quarters. It has the head with a sink and shower hose, microwave, fridge, stove, DVD player, flat screen tv, big stereo system, closet and drawers, and a very nice sleeping area at the very front. You can put a removable table in there and also can add several large mats and cushion on the table, so it could sleep up to six people, if you really liked each other. There's also a sink with a shower hose and a cooler up on the deck. I'll post some pictures tonight. I'm just taking a quick break right now from getting my coupe, truck, and trailer ready for the Reno National Show next week.

Here's the cuddy, all the comforts of home:

That's the Marina Real in San Carlos, Mexico. Those are million dollar homes in the background (not mine!).

There are multimillion dollar homes on the cliffs above Marina San Carlos. Those mostly are owned by Americans, but not all. Antonio Banderas has been trying to sell his for some time, I think the price is about 12 million, and it's not out of line for what he has. I'll see if I have a picture of the area from my house, the homes are about a half mile from mine. They're huge and have magnificent views. But they will get hammered when the next hurricane hits. Mine is protected by a six-story hotel and condo.
