Gotta root for the Cubs

I think there is some magic going on in Cleveland. First a mma fighter from there wins the heavyweight title in the ufc, the the cavs win the title in basketball... I think they have the mojo going in.

The CUBBIES! I cut high school one year to go the the opening day..walked there from school. It was freezing.

I want the cubbies to win so they quit whining. Oh we have not won the pennant in 108 years. Oh poor us...

White Sox fan here. Goes without saying I'm not jumping on the Northside bandwagon but come on. How can anyone not want to see the Cubs win? I will admit that them denying the Tribe the victory sure makes it easier for me to feel this way.:D

The Indians are a bunch of knuckleheads. Eddie Robinson, 95 is the only remaining living player from the 1948 Indians championship team and the Indians have not contacted him. He should be throwing out the first pitch tonight.

Toni & I rooting for your home-town team Mike !
We remember how disappointed your were last year

I have tried to root for them. It's damn hard. They seem to want to remain losers. People around here have looked like their dog got hit by a car lately. I'm betting today all the gloom will shift back to complete faith again after last nights nail-biter. Almost does make you feel sorry for the fans. Almost

Go Cubs!?.

I don't like to watch baseball. In fact I might prefer to watch the golf channel over baseball. I might even sit in my lawn chair and watch my grass/weeds grow before watching baseball. But my wife insisted on watching the game last night so I sat in the same room surfing on the computer. And yeah, I watched a little. I have never really liked any particular team either, but being from Chicago I think I actually enjoyed watching the cubs fans suffer. Last night I was even hoping the other team would win so I wouldn't be forced to have baseball on the TV again. But having said all that... I kind of hope they pull it off. I'll just be in the garage while the game is on.

what? they won? I hadn't heard (insert sarcasm).
Everybody I ever met from Illinois now is suddenly claiming to have been a life long cubs fan. It's a little sickening. But I am glad they finally won.
