Granada Spindles and bump steer

I know classic Mustangs have bump steer issues and that there are some ways to correct it with the stock spindle by lowering the tie rod end to correct the geometry between the tie rods and the control arms length/angle. The Granada spindle is rumored to be worse? but they also have a different taper on the tie rod end, is there a fix for bump steer on a Granada spindle?

The Granada spindle has the same geometry as the 67-up cars so you wouldn't notice a change. They are a little different than the 65-66 but the bump steer issue can be handled with a performance alignment.

The use of a bump steer kit will help even more but they are not needed on the street most of the time.

I probably don't need a bump steer kit then, I don't road race, but the roads here in KY are hilly and curvy. I just didn't think a bumpsteer kit would work on the Granada spindles since the taper is different. The kits I've seen fit in the spindle like the tie rod and have a relocated place for the tie rod.

OK so along the same lines, I have a '66. If I install the bigger latemodel 71-73 spindles, with a bumpsteer kit and a performance alignment, I won't suffer severe bumpsteer issues?

Thanks

Every year Mustang and the Granada spindle has bump steer issues...

The tie rod taper on the Granada spindle is the same as a 70-73 Mustang. You can use a 1970 Baer Tracker - http://www.streetortrack.com/Baer-Tracker-Bump-Steer-Kit-for-1970-73-Ford-Mustangs-3261003-pr-17586.html

What kind of bump-steer issues are you having? I have no problems. Bump the car on the right, it steers your car to the left. What's the issue?

Opentracker,
Can you post the required alignment specs for a 65-66 with granada spindles?

Thanks,

If I read you right when I put the Granada spindles sitting in my garage on the 67 nothing special is required? SWMBO wants to Autocross it so I need to get rid of those drums.
