Greasing the steering

1966 with manual steering. Steering in very hard someone said grease my gear box. My question is how and with what? Is it grease or gear oil.

A special grease. Open up an access hole and dump grease into it until it is full.

Did it today and wow what a difference a little grease makes.

A little lubrication always helps for sure. Even greasing the ball joints and such can make a difference in the ease of steering.
