great birthday present---crash with deer

I had a unexpected birthday present sunday evening about 9 pm, a large buck in the front end of my 07 Nissan frontier, I was meeting another car at the time so I was on dims but it wouldn't have mattered, he was on full run out of the woods, I hit him around 55 mph---over 4 grand in damages, could have been worse, trucks can be fixed.
 
Ouch, that sucks. We almost hit a couple in my friend's Saturn on the way up and back to another friend's ranch property up in northern California. Shortly after the first set of deer, we almost hit some jackrabbits that were almost as big, lol.
 
Wow, good thing it didn't come through the windshield! Glad to hear you are ok.
 
Where's the pics..............of the rack? How many points? Is it a wallhanger? C'mon now, give us the goods. Oh yeah, glad you're ok. That sucks.
 
The best news is that you wren't hurt.
The good news is that it can be fixed.
The happy news is that it wasn't your Mustang.
 
Glad you weren't hurt Rod, those suckers can really do some damage at that speed. I nailed a buck on a contry road years ago around midnight in my wife's car doing 55. It came out of nowhere and BAM caught him with the left front. Scared the Holy Sh*t out of me and the wife and rearranged the front of her car a bit and had to clean the seats but thankfully did not go into the windshield.
