Pretty good show on history channel about the revolution---those guys had the original big kahoonas! I have nothing but the utmost respect for all who have served and those currently serving in our armed forces---actually there was a story of a woman who manned her husbands cannon after he was killed in a battle--so many stories of valor.

No fireworks for us. Wife went to bed an hour ago, and the little one is down for the night. Closest thing to fireworks I'm gonna see is a marathon of bomb patrol Afghanistan.
But the neighbors are setting off fire crackers and drivng the dog insane.

we just watched the tumbleweeds roll by... it's been triple digits for weeks and no rain. The leaves are falling off the trees already.
I made it OK...just lost 2 toes and a finger...got plenty more where they come from.
