Here's to 2012 bringing good health and increased wealth to all of you all. :beer

To quote Tom Waits or Francis Bacon depending on who you believe, I want to wish champagne for my real friends and real pain for my sham friends. You know which you are.

I wish.....
The Jan. 4 record for a low temperature -- which had stood for more than century -- was broken in Gainesville overnight and nearly broken in Ocala.

According to the National Weather Service, the temperature in Gainesville fell to 20 degrees at 4:34 p.m. That was two degrees colder than the 22 degree record set on Jan. 4, 1900.

In Ocala, the record low for this date was set in 1928 at 18 degrees. Overnight, the temperature fell to 21 degrees, according to the weather service.

Hahaha. It is almost 40 here this week. For once we are warmer than Florida? I only wish it would last.

We are suppose to go down to the 70's by Friday. Some parts hit the 90's today, but mostly it was in the mid 80's here today. Cooling down to the low 80's tomorrow. The weather sucks here in the wintertime. :nut
