Might as well start this thread a day early, as tomorrow will be hectic!

So, what are YOUR plans? Hope everyone has a good turkey day. Enjoy some "quality time" with family & (non-internet) friends!

I'm cooking dinner for 15 family members. 18lb bird, using old family recipes from our grandmothers for stuffing, pumpkin bread, appetizers, etc. It's our once a year to use the "good" china and silver. Makes for a long day, but I enjoy the challenge. Ronda hates to cook, but doesn't mind cleaning up, so we make a good team. This will be the 1st year we have to share our daughter with her in-laws. The youngest daughter came home from college yesterday, but will be working (retail clothing store) much of the weekend, starting at 6am Friday. We have NO plans to do ANY shopping!!! :hide :bomb

Oh, gotta add a humorous picture...

Happy Turkey Day everyone!

We are going over to my Aunt & Uncle's place tomorrow around mid day for the typical turkey day meal.

Today, my office closes early and the boys are going over to a friend's house to play so I have a couple of projects lined up for the new toy that I plan to get started on. Just easy stuff like replacing the water pump and resealing the rear end, LOL!

At some point this weekend, we are going to put up the Thanksgiving decorations and decorate for Christmas. Think we can knock that out Friday morning. Boys have a friend spending the night on Friday.

Aikido is closed on Saturday so I'll probably continue to work on the projects on the TA.

Sunday the boys have a friend coming over after church so more work on the toy if required. If not I plan to hit Aikido class for a couple of hours after church.

Happy Tofurky day everyone!

We are celebrating our Thanksgiving with an early lunch at our house with my inlaws.

Then It's off to bed for me as I have to be in to work at Midnight for all the insane shoppers that will be standing in line at my store. :shrug
Working until 6 am then back to bed, then back to work from 4-10pm, back to bed, then back to work saturday 8-6.

Oh how I love the holidays! :roul

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
I'll be watching football and hockey...and that's about it. Might go meet the wife at her work for a lunch Thanksgiving meal.

Same plans as always... cooking, watching the parade with kids until husband takes over the remote and puts on football, eat, nap, eat some more... :thu

I'm just lazing around the house. Happy Thanksgiving to y'all and don't forget to eat too much and drink too much!

Daughter is working, her kids are with their Dad locally, we are doing the pot luck turkey dinner at the RV park rec center (about 60 others too) and grabbing a plate for our daughter. On the good side.....no mess....fix one dish....tons of food.....no dishes.....good company. On the bad side....no left overs.

Gonna take Shag out for a cruise before I retire to the kitchen to do the bird and crabcakes.
